ChatGPT makes horrible jokes right now.
If it can take in lots of of audio data on what makes people laugh, maybe like 10,000 data points, and then lots of other standup comedy jokes that don’t work like another 10,000 data points of “not funny” … i think eventually AI will remember to laugh at good jokes and NOT laugh at bad jokes.
It’s an AI that knows how to laugh. And then once it has an algorithm behind what it thinks is “funny,” then it can create jokes on top of that.
Then it can make jokes about a certain topic. More knowledge AI has about that topic, more humor it can generate, I think.
